Just annoying and can be dangerous if you are in a situation where you have minimal reaction time.Ĭar and Driver said it best: "When parking or maneuvering at low speed, the Traverse feels every bit its size. The hesitation is not a dealbreaker for me, however. Once the engine gets beyond that hesitation point, there is a decent amount of power in the acceleration. If not at the perfect timing when in the yield, the vehicle will jerk or hesitate to go when I push the accelerator. I did knock it down to four stars on performance due to its hesitation at yield signs when I accelerate after slowing down. I purchased the 2020 Traverse Premier Redline Edition brand new with only 50 miles and have no qualms about it.
